Bills retain Tyrod Taylor

With the new NFL league year beginning Thursday at 4 PM the Buffalo Bills were pressed to make a decision on incumbent QB Tyrod Taylor contract option.

The Bills announced Wednesday they have restructured Taylor’s contract and he’ll return as their starting QB for a 3rd season.

Taylor has his flaws but he was going be be the best QB aside of Tony Romo on the open market and immediately better than any rookie QB from the draft.

Tyrod Taylor in 2 seasons as the Bills starting QB has passed for over 6,000 yards, ran for over 1,000 and scored more than 40 TDs.

This move gives the Bills the ability to complete for a playoff berth but if it’ll result in that will need to be determined.

Tyrod Taylor will need to improve and take the next step that many thought it would in this past season.
