Bills vs Jets

The Bills failed to a show up in a meaningless game vs the New York Jets.

Under interim Head Coach Anthony Lynn the Bills dropped the final game of the season 30-10.

I won’t bore you with the run down of the game, but I’ll just hit a few points of what we seen on Sunday.

Tyrod Taylor was benched in favor of EJ Manuel as the team decides to pickup his his option for next year that is injury guaranteed.

EJ Manuel likely played his last game in a Bills uniform, as the former 1st round draft played poorly and Cardale Jones was inserted in the 2nd half to play.

Jones play in his first action of the season was to be expected, he was sacked and threw an interception, but did complete a long pass to Justin Hunter that may have been a TD had Hunter not slowed up on the way to the endzone.

Heading into next season it is likely Jones will be in a QB competition  vs whomever the new regime will bring in, if Taylor isn’t maintained.

Ryan Fitzpatrick played well against his former team, passing for over 200 yards and 2 TDs in likely his last game as a Jet after last summer lengthy holdout.

Entering the game the Bills held the record for fewest turnovers (9) in a season, however that went out the window as the Bills committed 3 turnovers making the record unattainable.

Anthony Lynn who sources consider to be the front runner for the Head Coach vacancy did little to have an impact in the game and will likely have his mark shown through the interview process.

With the season over, the Bills will now look to fill the Head Coach job and focus on the draft will the Bills will pick 10th overall in April. The Bills have many roster decisions to make, with the most important ones coming with Tyrod Taylor and CB Stephon Gilmore.
