Le’Veon Bell abused the Buffalo Bills on Sunday to the tune of 295 all purpose yards (including rushing and receiving) and 3 TDs.
What makes Bell day more impressive is, he single handily out gained the Bills offense.
On offense the Bills were held to under 10 yards throughout the entire 1st Quarter.
Bell performance vs the Bills was another negative stamp on the “what was a good defense” of the Buffalo Bills. The Bills have now given up 2, 200 yard rushers in Jay Ajayi of the Dolphins and now Le’Veon Bell.
Thanks to Ben Rothelisberger the final score of the game was respectable. Rotheslisberger threw 3 interceptions with 2 coming in the redzone area, keeping the Bills in the game despite their offensive weaknesses.
A usual strong performing running game was nowhere to be found as LeSean McCoy was held to 27 yards for the game.
The Bills came into the game with their playoffs lives hanging on by a thread. With the defeat is almost unimaginable the Bills will reach the postseason.
This Steelers game had the Bills entering the stretch run with 4 game favorable matchups (Steelers, Browns, Dolphins, Jets) to conclude the season. While the Steelers have been hot as a late the game was still considered to be winnable.
The Bills welcome the 0-13 Browns in to town which by all mean will be deemed as a must win game for the future of Rex Ryan coaching career.
