4 wins in a row!
The Bills handled the San Francisco 49ers easily winning 45-16 Sunday.
The game came with much hype as 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick was starting his first game since last season, but at this point which seems to be dominating the headlines more, it was his first game since he started his protest of kneeling during the National Anthem.
The 49ers who played poor enough in the 1st 5 games of the season to make the change to Kaepernick played the Bills close up until the 3rd Quarter.
The Bills defense who has played great was worried about Kaepernick legs as they should be because he’s easily one of the fastest QBs in the league. Kaepernick didn’t burn the Bills but he did pick up roughly 70 yards on the ground. Kaepernick didn’t play too poorly in his first game, but the 49ers just aren’t a team that is ready to compete at this time.
The Bills were leading 17-13 in the 3rd Quarter before blowing it open, Tyrod Taylor found Justin Hunter, who also scored last week for a 30 yard TD pass, being followed by a McCoy TD and another Tyrod Taylor TD pass this time to Robert Woods to put the game away.
Sitting with a 4-2 record the Bills will face division rival the Miami Dolphins, a game I imagine the Bills should be favored in before hosting the New England Patriots.
The Dolphins currently 2-4 did look impressive vs the Steelers on Sunday, so they may not be a pushover as the Bills would’ve expected. The Bills cannot be caught looking ahead to the Patriots and give up a winnable division game.
This Dolphins vs Bills matchup have trap game written all over it, Rex Ryan will need to keep the team composed this week as they travel to Miami in hopes of returning to Buffalo on a 5 game winning streak.
