The NBA Finals kickoff tonight as the Cleveland Cavaliers visit the Golden State Warriors in Game 1.
With the Finals starting tonight it got me thinking of my favorite NBA Finals moment.
For those that know me, it’ll come as no surprise it’s the iconic step over Allen Iverson did, coincidentally over now Cavaliers Coach Tyronn Lue in Game 1 in 2001.
The Sixers went on to win Game 1 in Overtime as Allen Iverson scored a game high 48 points vs LA Lakers however would lose the series in 5 games.
Take a look
That was real purty! 😉 I’ve always said that great basketball is like great choreography; it’s poetry in motion. Looking forward to watching the finals!
Indeed! I couldn’t said it better myself. Tune in tonight at 9 on ABC.
Definitely!
BTW — don’t know if you’ve checked your email recently but I mailed you a link to info. a great podcast, Only a Game on NPR. Get back to me when you have a minute! 🙂
Oh yes! It didn’t allow me to respond to the post on Facebook, but I’m very familiar with that site I visit it often!
I’m not surprised. Another one a friend introduced me to is this one, The Players‘ Tribune. Here’s link that she posted on her page; way cool! http://www.theplayerstribune.com/math-meets-football-one-in-600-billion/
(that’s “info. about a great podcast”)
